Bookworm Buddies was founded on the belief that children thrive best in an environment free from judgment or rigid expectations. The Bookworm Buddies is dedicated to fostering a space where children can embrace their individuality and flourish.

 

We start at each gathering with a welcoming circle, welcoming our friends with a song. Our Bookworm Buddies Experience encompasses enriching storytime sessions, engaging musical activities, and playful rhythm exploration. And let's not overlook the joy of bubbles! Following these interactive sessions, we delve into themed crafts and activities, ensuring every moment is filled with excitement and learning.

 

Caregivers can anticipate spending 45 minutes cultivating connections and community with the children while forging bonds with fellow caregivers. It's a win-win situation!

 

Bookworm Buddies will move to a 10-month model in the fall of 2024, including occasional field trips to enrich the learning experience. Previous excursions have included visits to the Pumpkin Patch, PDX Dinorama, a local Portland Fire Station, berry picking at a local farm, community gatherings at Stay Little, and refreshing nature walks in the park.

 

The primary objective of our Little Bookworm class is to instill a lifelong love for reading while fostering a sense of unity among children and caregivers within our community.

 

As the seasons change, so do our class themes, ensuring that there's always something fresh and exciting to explore and learn together!
