💛September is Pediatric Cancer Awareness month.💛
For the past six years, I have done a Cuddle Bear Drive to benefit a local PDX organization that works with children that face cancer and their families.
This year, I am going to continue the tradition of getting as many books and/or bears (both organizations have different needs), but also have another fundraiser to add to raise even more funds and awareness! The two organizations that I will be donating to are @embracecompassion and @candlelightersoregon
Here is how YOU can help! These are the options to get involved.
1. Donate a book and bear for $25 through me via Venmo @literacyladypdx
2. Donate towards a space on a special mural at @playforest that will be painted by children in the Portland Metro area. (learn more about this in the link in my profile).
3. Donate your time to sharing about this fundraiser.

I am really excited about the different ways that we can all work at a collaborative community and get Embrace Compassion and Candlelighters some comfort for the children and caregivers that they service.
